Harvest Hosts: Licon Dairy
Three years ago, we set out on this big adventure and found ourselves at a dairy near El Paso, TX ... thanks to the awesome folks at Harvest Hosts.
In December 2018 (just a few day into round one of this journey), we spent two nights at this dairy/farm/petting zoo because we were having so much FUN and the hosts were incredibly kind. We actually rang in 2019 with sparklers in their parking lot!
They have a great family story and history that is connected to this place. Most recently, their son opened a restaurant on the property and they are super proud that it is going well.
It was truly a blessing to have the opportunity to once again stay at Licon Dairy. We'll have a video soon that shares more information and history about their farm, but for now, here are some pics from this morning.
Note: If you ever find yourself near this farm, be sure to stop in and see Gene, Sandra, their family, and staff. They are very active community members, always giving back, and helping others. They make delicious cheese and other products. We even got to sample their newest creation, Queso Chihuahua. We'll share more, and our review of the cheese, in our upcoming video.
